Position and Vacancies
The Tripura High Court is seeking to fill 14 vacancies in Grade III of the Tripura Judicial Service. These positions offer a competitive pay scale of ₹77,840 to ₹1,36,520 per month, along with other admissible allowances as per existing rules.

Eligibility Criteria
Candidates must meet the following requirements to be eligible for the recruitment:
Age Limit:
- General candidates must be under 35 years of age.
- Scheduled Tribes and Scheduled Castes candidates should not exceed 38 years of age.
Educational Qualification:
A Degree in Law from a recognized university established by law in India.
Citizenship:
Must be a citizen of India as defined in Articles 5 & 6 of the Indian Constitution.

- Law degree certificate
- Caste certificate (if applicable)
- Disability certificate (if applying under the PWD category)
- No-Objection Certificate (for current government employees)

Examination Details
Preliminary Examination
The preliminary examination will be a screening test consisting of objective questions covering various legal and general knowledge topics, including:

Candidates must score at least 60% (General) or 50% (Reserved) to qualify for the Final Written Examination.
Final Written Examination and Viva Voce
Successful candidates from the preliminary examination will appear for the Final Written Examination, which includes:

- Bengali: Translation, Essay Writing, Report Writing
- General Knowledge: Objective Type, Aptitude Test
- Law Paper I: Constitution of India, Code of Civil Procedure, Transfer of Property Act, Indian Contract Act
- Law Paper II: Indian Penal Code, Criminal Procedure Code, Indian Evidence Act, Law of Torts
The final stage is the Viva Voce, carrying 100 marks. Minimum qualifying marks for the Viva Voce will be as per the Tripura Judicial Service Rules.
