ICAR NEH Recruitment 2024 Education Qualification:
SI NO 1:
- Master’s degree in Agriculture Sciences essential Specialization in Plant Breeding, Genetics, and Agril. Biotechnology, or Seed Technology.A
- Bachelor’s degree of 4 years duration highly recommended
- Alternatively, a Post Graduate Degree in Life Sciences with a Botany specialization
- Acceptable with a 3-year Bachelor’s degree and 2 or 3-year Master’s degree
SI NO 2:
Essential Qualification:
- Master’s degree in Agriculture Sciences, specializing in Plant Breeding, Genetics, Agril. Biotechnology, or Crop Physiology
- Bachelor’s degree of 4 years duration or equivalent
- Alternatively, a Post Graduate Degree in Life Sciences with a focus on Botany, alongside a 3-year Bachelor’s degree and a 2/3-year Master’s degree.
Desirable:
- Minimum 2 years of experience in Plant Breeding, preferably in Maize, Paddy, or Buckwheat
- Alternatively, a Ph.D. in Applied Plant Breeding.
Age Limit:
- Minimum age of 21 years and maximum age of 45 years for general candidates
- Age relaxation of 5 years for SC/ST and Women candidates
- Age relaxation of 3 years for OBC candidates, as of the date of the interview.
