Educational Qualifications
- Minimum Educational Qualification by Post:
- Assistant Sub-Inspector: Graduate
- Assistant Inspector of Excise: P.U Passed
- Leading Fireman/Assistant Sub-Inspector: Graduate
- Head Constable: Matriculate
- Armour Havildar: Graduate for General; P.U Passed for Backward Tribe
- Instructor/Demonstrator Havildar/Junior Instructor Havildar: Graduate for General; P.U Passed for Backward Tribe

Age Limit
- Minimum Age: 21 years
- Maximum Age: 30 years as of 01-01-2024
Age Relaxation:
- 5 years for SC/ST candidates
- Serving Government employees get age concession equal to the number of years in service, up to a maximum of 5 years.
