Selection Process:
1. Application Screening
Initial Review: Applications submitted online will undergo an initial screening to verify eligibility based on the prescribed educational qualifications, age limits, and other criteria.
Provisional Acceptance: Candidates who meet the basic requirements will receive provisional acceptance and will be eligible to proceed to the next stages.
2. Written Examination
Grade-III | Paper-I | General English, including Precis Writing, Essay Writing, and Drafting (100 Marks) |
Paper-II | Elementary Mathematics, Science, and Aptitude (100 Marks, with 30 Marks for Aptitude) | |
Paper-III | General Knowledge (70 Marks) | |
Grade-IV | Candidates for Grade-IV posts will have a written exam focused on General Knowledge (50 Marks). |
3. Physical Endurance Test
For Specific Roles: Positions such as Forester-I and Forest Guard require candidates to pass a physical endurance test:
Forester-I: A physical test covering 25 km in 4 hours for male candidates and 16 km in 4 hours for female candidates.
Forest Guard: Similar endurance tests apply with distances of 25 km and 16 km in 4 hours for male and female candidates, respectively.
4. Typing Test
For Clerical Positions: Candidates applying for Lower Division Assistant and other clerical roles must demonstrate typing speed and accuracy.
5. Personal Interview
- Final Evaluation: Shortlisted candidates who pass the written and physical tests will be called for a personal interview.
- The interview panel will assess the candidate’s suitability for the role based on their performance in the tests and their qualifications.
6. Document Verification
Verification Stage: Successful candidates will need to provide original documents and certificates for verification during the interview process.
7. Final Selection
Merit List: Based on the combined results of the written tests, physical endurance tests, and interviews, a final merit list will be prepared. Candidates who meet all the criteria and rank high on the merit list will be offered the positions.
