Eligibility Criteria:
1. Assistant Professor (Physical Education):
- A Master’s degree with at least 55% marks in Physical Education or a related field from an accredited institution.
- Candidates should also have cleared the National Eligibility Test (NET) conducted by UGC.
- Those who hold or have been awarded a Ph.D. under the guidelines of the University Grants Commission (UGC) (Minimum Standards and Procedure for Award of M.Phil/Ph.D. Degree) are exempted from NET.
2. Assistant Professor (Sports Biomechanics):
- A Master’s degree with at least 55% marks in Sports Biomechanics or a related subject.
- Candidates who have cleared the NET exam are eligible, but those with a Ph.D. in the relevant field are also exempted from the requirement of NET.
- For subjects where NET/SLET/SET exams are not conducted, applicants are exempt from having to clear these tests.
In addition to the minimum qualifications, the selection process will take into account the candidates’ prior experience, qualifications, and contributions to their respective fields. Preference will be given to candidates with higher qualifications or specialized experience related to a specific sport or educational field.
