1. Resilient Social Sector & Infrastructure Specialist
Responsibilities:
- Lead coordination between various departments to enhance social sector services and infrastructure resilience.
- Innovate and implement best practices for social sector resilience.
- Support in developing policies, plans, and funding proposals related to social sector resilience.
Qualifications:
- Postgraduate degree in Social Science, Environmental Science, Development Studies, Management, or Engineering.
- At least 5 years of relevant experience in managing resilience programs/projects.
- Knowledge of English and Assamese is essential; familiarity with other NE languages is desirable.
2. Resilient Livelihood Specialist
Responsibilities:
- Act as the focal point for livelihood-related resilience activities.
- Facilitate partnerships and integrate global innovations into local programs.
- Oversee and support the development of livelihood resilience projects and funding proposals.
Qualifications:
- Postgraduate degree in Agricultural Development, Environmental Sciences, or Disaster Management.
- Minimum of 5 years experience in agriculture and livelihood projects.
- Strong skills in data analysis and experience in Northeast India are advantageous.
3. Preparedness and Building Back Better Specialist
Responsibilities:
- Support the ASDMA’s response and recovery actions focusing on preparedness and building back better.
- Develop state-specific recovery frameworks and capacity-building programs.
- Enhance systems for damage assessments and recovery operations.
Qualifications:
- Postgraduate degree in Disaster Management, Humanitarian Assistance, or related fields.
- Experience in disaster preparedness, response, and recovery, including knowledge of SPHERE standards.
- Ability to coordinate across various stakeholders and sectors.
4. Shared Resilience and Finance Management Specialist
Responsibilities:
- Manage financial aspects related to DRR interventions and strategies.
- Develop financial plans and manage budgets for disaster risk reduction programs.
- Identify and secure financing opportunities for DRR activities.
Qualifications:
- Postgraduate degree in Actuarial Sciences, Economics, Financial Management, or Business Administration.
- Demonstrated skills in financial management, budgeting, and project appraisal.
- Understanding of disaster risk financing and experience in similar projects is desirable.
