Assam PSC Education Qualification:
- Candidates must have a three-year regular Diploma in Mechanical Engineering from a recognized institute.
- Distance education diplomas are not accepted.
- Knowledge of English and one official language of Assam (Assamese, Bengali, or Bodo) is required.

APSC Age Limit:
APSC Age Limit For General: Candidates must be between 18 and 38 years of age as of 01/01/2024. The upper age limit is relaxable.
APSC Age Limit For ST: Candidates must be between 18 and 38 years of age as of 01/01/2024. The upper age limit is relaxable by 5 years for SC/ST candidates, i.e., up to 43 years.
APSC Age Limit For OBC: Candidates must be between 18 and 38 years of age as of 01/01/2024. The upper age limit is relaxable by 5 years for SC/ST candidates, i.e., up to 43 years, and by 3 years for OBC/MOBC candidates, i.e., up to 41 years.
