APSSB Recruitment 2024 Education Qualification:

Upper Division Clerk Graduation from a recognized University.
Lower Division Clerk Class Xll passes a certificate from a recognized Board/institution.
Multi-Tasking Staff Class X Pass certificate from a recognized Board/institution.
Driver Class X Pass certificate from a recognized Board/institution.
Possession of a valid Driving License for an LMV/ HMV.
Experience of driving of Light Motor vehicle/ Heavy Motor vehicle

APSSB Recruitment 2024 Syllabus:

A) Upper Division Clerk (UDC) / Lower Division Clerk (LDC) / Multi-Tasking Staff (MTS):

Duration: 2 Hours

The test will comprise of the following subjects:

  • General Awareness: Marks: 50 (25 questions, 2 marks each)
  • General Intelligence & Reasoning Ability: Marks: 50 (25 questions, 2 marks each)
  • Arithmetical & Numerical Ability: Marks: 50 (25 questions, 2 marks each)
  • Test of English Language and Comprehension: Marks: 50 (25 questions, 2 marks each)
    Total: 200 Marks

B) Driver:

(Objective Type Multiple Choice Questions)

Duration: 2 Hours

The test will comprise of the following subjects:

  • General Awareness:25 marks (10 questions of 2.5 marks each)
  • General Intelligence & Reasoning Ability: 25 marks (10 questions of 2.5 marks each)
  • Arithmetical & Numerical Ability: 25 marks (10 questions of 2.5 marks each)
  • Test of English Language and Comprehension: 25 marks (10 questions of 2.5 marks each)
  • Technical Paper: 100 marks (50 questions of 2 marks each)
    Total: 200 Marks.

UDC/LOC/MTS Exam Syllabus:

General Awareness:

Marks: 50 (25 questions, 2 marks each)
Syllabus: This section tests candidates’ awareness of the environment and its societal applications. Questions cover current events, everyday observations, history, polity, constitution, sports, art & culture, geography, economics, everyday science, scientific research, national/international organizations/institutions, and may include state-specific inquiries.
General Intelligence & Reasoning Ability:

Marks: 50 (25 questions, 2 marks each)
Syllabus: This segment assesses verbal and non-verbal reasoning abilities. Questions may include analogies, similarities, differences, spatial visualization, problem-solving, analysis, judgment, decision-making, visual memory, discrimination, observation, relationship concepts, arithmetic reasoning, verbal and figure classification, arithmetic number series, and abstract ideas and symbol relationships.
Arithmetical and Numerical Abilities:

Marks: 50 (25 questions, 2 marks each)
Syllabus: This test covers number systems, including simplification, decimals, data interpretation, fractions, L.C.M, H.C.F, ratio & proportion, percentage, average, profit & loss, discount, simple & compound interest, mensuration, time & work, time & distance, tables & graphs.
English Language and Comprehension:

Marks: 50 (25 questions, 2 marks each)
Syllabus: Questions in this section evaluate candidates’ understanding and knowledge of the English language. Topics include spotting errors, fill in the blanks, synonyms, antonyms, spelling/misspelled word detection, idioms & phrases, one-word substitution, sentence improvement, active/passive voice, direct/indirect narration conversion, sentence arrangement, and cloze passage & comprehension passage.

  • Graduation certificate issued by University (for postcode 1/24).
  • Graduation mark sheet issued by University (for postcode 1/24).
  • APST Certificate (if applicable).
  • Permanent Resident Certificate (if applicable).
  • Intimation letter to HoD for those who are in regular Govt. Service.
  • Pay & Pension Order (PPO) and Discharge Book issued by the competent authority.
  • Admit Card.
  • Any other documents as may be relevant.
