What’s the Deal?
This opportunity is with the TTAADC Polytechnic Institute, which is a government-run educational institution, approved by AICTE and affiliated with Tripura University. They’re looking for Guest Lecturers to teach various subjects for the 2024-25 academic year.

What Are the Qualifications?
The qualifications are pretty straightforward. Depending on the subject area, here’s what you’ll need:
- Engineering/Technology (Mechanical Engineering): You need to have a B.E./B. Tech./B.S. in the relevant discipline with First Class or equivalent.
- Science & Humanities (Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics): A Master’s degree in the relevant subject, with First Class either at the Bachelor’s or Master’s level.
How Much Will You Earn?
The engagement is purely temporary, but the pay isn’t bad for a guest lecturer! Here’s what you’ll get:
- ₹500 per class (each class is 45 minutes long).
- A maximum ceiling of ₹20,000 per month.
What’s the Process Like?
It’s really simple! Just head to the Principal’s Office by 11:00 A.M. on the interview day for registration. You’ll need to bring:
- Originals and self-attested photocopies of all relevant documents.
- A plain paper application.
- A recent passport-sized color photograph.
- A filled-in bio-data (you can grab the format from their website).
The selection is merit-based and will follow Recruitment Rules and API score screening. Also, they’ll be adhering to the reservation policy of the Tripura state government.
Anything Else?
Just a quick heads-up: there’s no TA/DA (travel or accommodation allowance) provided, so if you’re traveling from far, you’ll need to plan for that. But hey, the experience could be worth it, right?
