Who is eligible to apply?
- Age: 35 to 48 years
- Experience: At least seven years of practice in civil and criminal courts
- Citizenship: Must be an Indian citizen
- Categories: Reserved category (ST/SC). Unreserved candidates can apply if no suitable reserved category candidates are found.
How to apply?
- Application Period: 2nd September 2024 to 23rd September 2024 (up to 4 p.m.)
- Application Mode: Online only through the High Court’s website.
- Fees: Rs. 2000 for unreserved category and Rs. 1000 for reserved category. Payment via Credit/Debit Cards, Net Banking, UPI.
Selection Process:
- Written Examination: Includes general knowledge, legal aptitude, and specific law papers.
- Viva Voce: For those who score qualifying marks in the written exam.
- Language Proficiency: Bengali language test required if not studied previously.
