Introduction to SIRISH – The Online Application System
The Directorate of Tea Tribes and Adivasi Welfare, Assam, is pleased to announce the launch of the SIRISH online application system. This portal has been designed to facilitate the application process for various schemes benefiting the Tea Tribes and Adivasi communities in Assam for the financial year 2024-25.
Through this initiative, the Directorate aims to simplify and streamline the process of applying for scholarships and other welfare schemes.
SIRISH Scholarship Schemes for 2024-25
For the upcoming financial year, the Directorate invites online applications for the following schemes:
- Pre-Matric Scholarship: This scheme provides financial assistance to students in their early years of education.
- Simon Sing Horo Special Post-Matric Scholarship: Aimed at supporting students pursuing higher education.
Eligibility Criteria:
To qualify for these scholarships, applicants must meet the following criteria:
- Residency: Must be a permanent resident of Assam.
- Community: Must belong to the Tea Tribes or Adivasi community.
- Income Limit: The family’s annual income should not exceed Rs. 5.00 Lakh. An undertaking certifying this must be submitted by the parent or guardian.
- Bank Account: Make sure you have an active bank account because you’ll need it for the application process.
- Caste Certificate: You’ll need a TGL or EX-TGL caste certificate. This is a must-have to prove your eligibility.

6. Caste Certificate: Upload your TGL or EX-TGL caste certificate.
7. Income Undertaking: Submit an undertaking confirming that your family income does not exceed 5 lakh per annum.
