Educational Requirements
- Essential: A Postgraduate degree in Mathematics, Economics, Statistics, Commerce, or an MBA (Finance).
- Desirable: If you’ve got about a year’s experience in data collection and analysis with some computer skills, you’ll have an edge.
Conditions to Apply
- Citizenship: You must be an Indian citizen.
- Language: You need to speak Manipuri or any of the tribal dialects of Manipur.
- Residency: You must be a permanent resident of Manipur. If your parents or ancestors were residents, and you can prove it (like with a birth certificate or voter ID), that works too!
- Age Limit: You must be 38 or younger as of September 12, 2024. You can relax a bit if you’re a government employee since your work experience may help extend the age limit. ST candidates have some age relaxation too, but not SC/OBC since there aren’t any reserved posts for those categories.

Selection process:
Written Exam: Two papers with 100 MCQs each.
- Paper I: Current Affairs, Basic History, Geography, Environment, and Politics.
- Paper II: Budget and Planning, Economic Policy, Science & Technology, and Numerical Aptitude.
- Duration: 2 hours per paper.
- 2aInterview: 25 marks (Note: Only 3 times the number of posts will be called for the interview, so acing the written exam is key!)
