Army Agniveer Bharti 2024 Eligibility:

Nationality:

A candidate must either be: –

(i) A citizen of India,

(ii) a subject of Nepal, or

(iii) a person of Indian origin who has migrated from Pakistan, Burma, Sri Lanka, and East African countries of Kenya, Uganda, the United Republic of Tanzania, Zambia, Malawi, Zaire Ethiopia, and Vietnam to permanently settle in India.

Age Limit:

20 to 27 years as of 01 Jan 2025. (Candidates born between 02 Jan 1998 and 01 Jan 2005, both dates inclusive).

Educational Qualification:

Candidates who have passed the requisite Engineering Degree course or are in the final year of the Engineering Degree course are eligible to apply.

Candidates studying in the final year of the engineering degree course should be able to submit proof of passing the Engineering Degree Examination along with mark sheets of all semesters/years by 01 Jan 2025 and produce the Engineering Degree Certificate within 12 weeks from the date of commencement of training at Indian Military Academy (IMA).

Such candidates will be inducted on an Additional Bond Basis for recovery of the cost of training at the Indian Military Academy (IMA) as notified from time to time as well as stipend and pay & allowances paid, in case they fail to produce the requisite degree certificate.

Army Agniveer Types of Commission 2024:

• Grant of Commission: Selected candidates will be granted Short Service Commission on probation in the rank of Lieutenant from the date of commencement of the course or the date of reporting at Indian Military Academy (IMA), Dehradun, whichever is later and will be entitled to full pay and allowances admissible to Lieutenant during the training period. Pay & Allowances will be paid after successful completion of training.

• Permanent Commission: On successful completion of training, cadets will be granted Permanent Commission in the Army in the rank of Lieutenant.

• Ante Date Seniority: One-year ante date seniority from the date of commission will be granted to Engineering Graduates of TGC Entry in the rank of Lieutenant.

Army Agniveer Bharti 2024 Training:

• Selected candidates will be detailed for training at Indian Military Academy, Dehradun according to their position in the final order of merit (engineering streamwise) up to the number of available vacancies and subject to meeting all eligibility criteria.

• Duration of training – About 12 Months.

• Candidates will neither be allowed to marry during the period of training nor be allowed to live with parents/Guardians. Candidates must not marry until they complete the full training at the Indian Military Academy, Dehradun. A candidate, if he marries while under training, shall be discharged and will be liable to refund all expenditure incurred on him by the government. A candidate, who marries after the date of his application, though successful at the Service Selection Board interview and medical examination, will not be inducted for training, and his candidature will be cancelled.

• Click on ‘Officer Entry Apply/Login’ and then select ‘Registration’ (unless already registered).
• Fill out the online registration form, following the provided instructions.
• Once registered, click on ‘Apply Online’ on the Dashboard.
• Choose ‘Technical Graduate Course’ under Officers Selection ‘Eligibility’ and click ‘Apply’.
• Fill out the ‘Application Form’ carefully, including Personal, Communication, Education, and previous SSB details.
• Save each segment before moving to the next.
• Review all information on the ‘Summary’ page before clicking ‘Submit’.
• Remember to click ‘Submit’ each time you edit the application.
• Retrieve two copies of your application with the Roll Number after the online application closes.

Army Agniveer Bharti 2024 Selection Process:

Short listing of Applications:

The Integrated HQ of MoD (Army) may shortlist applications and set cutoff marks for each engineering discipline. Final-year students can apply for SSB if their marks until the previous semester meet the cutoff. If they fail to meet the cutoff after the final results, their candidature will be canceled.

Centre Allocation:

Candidates will receive their center allotment via email. They must then log in to the website to select their SSB dates, initially on a first-come, first-served basis. Later, Selection Centres will allocate the dates. The option to choose dates may be forfeited due to exceptional circumstances.

Selection Centre Process:

Only shortlisted candidates meeting the cutoff percentage will be interviewed at Prayagraj (UP), Bhopal (MP), Bengaluru (Karnataka), or Jalandhar (Punjab) by a Psychologist, Group Testing Officer, and Interviewing Officer.

Selection Procedure:

Candidates undergo a two-stage selection process. Those who clear Stage 1 proceed to Stage 2; others return the same day. SSB interviews last five days, with details available on the official website. Successful candidates undergo a medical examination after Stage 2.

Joining Letter:

Candidates recommended by the SSB and deemed medically fit will receive Joining Letters for training based on merit and vacancies, provided all eligibility criteria are met.
