Key Details of the Examination
The Assam Public Service Commission (APSC) is set to conduct a Departmental Promotion Examination for members of the Assam Accounts Service, Assam Local Fund Audit Service, and Assam Treasury (Estt.) Service. This examination aims to fill 30 vacancies in the Junior Grade II cadre of the Assam Finance Service, as outlined under the Assam Finance Service Rules, 2019 (amended till 2024). Eligibility CriteriaÂ
Age: Candidates must not be older than 50 years as of January 1, 2024.
Educational Qualification: Graduation from a recognized university.
Experience: Minimum 5 years of service in the respective cadre:
- Assam Accounts Service (Accounts Officer/Deputy Accounts Officer)
- Assam Local Fund Audit Service (Audit Officer)
- Assam Treasury (Estt.) Service (Supdt./Accountant/Senior Accounts Asst.)
Certificate Requirement: A certificate confirming 5 years of service from the appointing authority must be submitted with the application.
