Qualifications and Eligibility
Stenographer Grade-III
- Education: Graduate from a recognized University
- Skills: Diploma/Certificate in Stenography with a minimum shorthand speed of 80 w.p.m. and computer typing speed of 40 w.p.m.
Duftry
- Education: HSLC pass or equivalent from a recognized Central or State Board
Selection Process:
Stenographer Grade-III
1. Stenography Test: 90 marks
- Dictation at 80 w.p.m. for 7 minutes
- Transcription of the dictated portion within 20 minutes
2. Written Test: 70 marks
Duration: 2 hours
Subjects: English language proficiency (50 marks) and Assamese language (20 marks)
3. Interview/Viva-Voce: 20 marks
- Ratio: 1:3
- Minimum qualifying marks: 12 out of 20
Duftry
1. Written Test: 50 marks
- Duration: 90 minutes
- Type: Objective Multiple Choice Questions
2. Interview/Viva-Voce: 20 marks
- Ratio: 1:5
- Minimum qualifying marks: 12 out of 20

1. Registration:

2. Update Details:
- Enter personal and educational information
- Upload photograph and signature in specified formats
3. Fee Payment:
- Generate and print the Fee Payment Challan
- Pay at any State Bank of India branch
- Retain the bank’s stamped Challan copy
4. Submission:
After fee payment, print the Acknowledgement Receipt and Application Form
