Early life and education

Born in 2002 in Goria village, Jhajjar, Haryana,  her initial education laid a strong foundation for her future academic and athletic achievements.

Manu Bhaker’s academic journey soared at Lady Shri Ram College, graduating with Political Science Honours in 2021

Manu Bhaker is now pursuing Public Administration at Punjab University, reflecting her interest in governance and public policy.

. At the age of 16, she won a gold medal in the Women’s 10-meter air pistol event at the 2018 International Shooting Sport Federation (ISSF) World Cup in Guadalajara, Mexico.

Her accolades include medals at the 2018 Commonwealth Games, 2018 Asian Games, 2018 Youth Olympics, and 2019 ISSF World Cup.

A pivotal member of India’s gold-winning team at the 2022 Asian Games, she further solidified her prowess at the 2020 Tokyo Olympics.

In 2024, Manu added to her legacy with two bronze medals at the Paris Summer Olympics, in the women’s 10m air pistol and mixed 10m air pistol events alongside Sarabjot Singh.
