Planning Section (2 Positions)

Qualifications

• MA/M.Sc in Economics or M.Sc in Statistics/Mathematics or M.Tech (Electronics and Communication), M.Sc (IT), or MCA (Computer Science)
• Computer application certification for Economics or Statistics/Mathematics candidates
• One year of experience in statistical data handling and analysis in a Central Government office

Desirable Experience

• Five years in statistical data handling and analysis in Central/State Government offices
• Experience with e-office systems

Responsibilities

• Collect, compile, and interpret statistical data for NEC projects/plans/schemes
• Prepare PPTs and statistical tables for meetings, VIP visits, and reports
• Perform other tasks as assigned

T&C Section (1 Position)

Qualifications

• B.Tech/BE in Civil Engineering from recognized universities/institutions
• Over two years of post-graduation experience in Roads/Bridges/Buildings and related civil engineering works
• Minimum six months of experience in planning, monitoring, execution, or DPR scrutiny of hill roads and related works

Responsibilities

• Scrutinize/vet DPRs
• Conduct field evaluations/visits as needed
• Compile and prepare reports, notes, and other documentation

Age Limit

• Minimum: 25 years
• Maximum: 45 years (as of January 1st of the advertisement year)
• Age Relaxation: 5 years for SC/ST candidates, 3 years for OBC candidates

Nature of Engagement

• Full-time basis: No other assignments are permitted during the engagement
• Contractual nature: No claim for permanent absorption in NEC
• Termination: Engagement can be terminated by the NEC Secretariat at any time without reason

Recruitment Method

• Shortlisting: Based on eligibility criteria
• Interview: Shortlisted candidates will be informed individually of the date and time. No rescheduling requests will be entertained.
• Selection: Successful candidates will sign a contract with NEC
